We seize this opportunity to thank God who gave us life. We also thank
Him for the journey mercies to all of us here especially to our guests
from the far continent of America. You are welcome to Anglican
Secondary School, Okigwe (A.S.S.O). We are privileged to have you in
our midst.

The Beginnings:- This great citadel of learning was born on 11th
September, 200. It is the project of women's work Diocese of Okigwe
North. It took off with a pocket of students of eight (8) only. From the
temporary site of the cathedral compound they moved to the permanent
site now at Rev. Mann (German hill), Okigwe. The school grew from that
small number on a straight line graph.

The legacies of the early missionaries from the IDEAL school is our
foundation. The proprietress, Lady E.C Nwaizuzu, (Nnediohamma) and
her cream of dedicated executive upholds the above assertion. They
equally saw the school through her teething problems.

External Examinations:-  The External examining bodies (W.A.E.C. and
N.E.C.O) approved our school for their exams last two years. Owing to
this, we sat for the exams last year and our results were hundred
percent pass.

Staff and Students:- Our staff and students are doing well. We have
about four hundred students and eighteen tutorial staff members.

Our Needs:- The school's infrastructure so far is not enough for the
teaming population. The population is about four hundred. We need
more buildings. The perimeter fence is moving up. However, we need
help. Again, we are in a computer age so we need computers. Our
science equipments in our laboratories are far below expectations and
so we need to update and upgrade them.
"The school", they say, "is
the teacher, students and books"
. We have teachers and students, we
need books to complete the tripod stand of the IDEAL school.

Thanks a lot and God bless you!
