Our Mission at St. Stephen's is
To Be
Christ's
Instrument of Salvation in our Community by
bringing people into
Membership in the Body of Christ,
restoring them to the
Adoration of God,
discipling them for
Growth in Christian Maturity, and
equipping them to
Edify the Body by
ministering their gifts.
* Nursery care during the service for children 0 - 3 years.
* Sunday school during the service for ages 4 to 9
* We encourage children 8 and over to serve as acolytes in the
service, and to help with the younger children in Sunday school
* Confirmation class (32 weeks) for Preteens (usually starting at
age 12).
* Vacation Bible School one week each summer.
- Sunday School for a Adults and Teens at 9:00AM (breaks
during summer months)
- Mid-week Morning Prayer: Tuesdays at 8:30AM
- Wednesday Evening Bible Study: Currently we are studying the
Book of Revelation. Class begins at 6:45pm
- Women's Mid-week Bible study: At various times during the year.
- Youth Group: meets usually on the third Sunday of the month after
worship for fun, fellowship, and service of our community.
- Discoverers Class: An introduction to who we at St. Stephens' and
what we believe as orthodox Anglicans and Reformed Episcopalians.
(Held roughly quarterly.)
- Ladies Lunch Out: Second Thursday each month.
- Monthly Holy Day Feasts: Eucharist followed by potluck supper.
Days varying according to the feast days.
- Men's Dart Fellowship: 3:00 the First Sunday of the month.
- Sharing Ministries: a food ministry to the local community
- Association of Montrose Churches
